Method- Forecasting Accuracy Analyses
- Forecasting accuracy analyses were conducted to examine the accuracy with which Galileo risk levels predicted the ultimate student performance on AIMS.
- In order to forecast student performance on the state test, ATI uses a standard statistical procedure, equipercentile equating, to identify cut scores that divide students into performance levels on each test in a similar way to the statewide test.
- Based on the student's DL score and the cut score that corresponds to passing the statewide test, a student can be classified as passing/not passing the Galileo assessment.
